For existing solvent dispensing systems, as well as our Software Upgrades we can now offer a ColorMix terminal which is much simpler to use than older terminals, and brings the full power of ColorFast out to the dispense area.
This upgrade replaces the existing terminal (e.g. ISIS or SpectraTek) with a full PC display and full membrane keyboard. So, you no longer have to put up with small displays, or multi-function keyboards that need several key presses just to enter a single character.
Another advantage is that all PC functions, including all functions within our ColorFast software package, become available in the hazardous area.
As part of this upgrade, we insert a switch box so that the PC can be controlled either in the safe area (using the existing monitor, keyboard and mouse) or in the hazardous area (using the new, intrinsically safe keyboard/display module that we supply). If you require access to the dispense software in both areas then we add a second PC networked to the first.
